The blue sky and warm sun made for a picture perfect day for this summer wedding. The day was filled with so much emotion. There were sweet love notes and thoughtful gifts the bride and groom exchanged before the ceremony. There was love and excitement when they saw each other for the first time walking down the aisle. It was an honor to be part of their special day and capture the love and support that was so evident right to the very end. Wishing this beautiful couple all the best as they begin their lives together as husband and wife! Congratulations!
….happily ever after!!
It feels like I just finished photographing HS Seniors from the Class of 2014 and now it’s graduation time already! Looking back to when we scheduled this beautiful girl’s session, I knew it was later in fall, but, I certainly didn’t remember that it was November 2nd! Wow, I almost forgot what a long beautiful fall we had last year! We took our chances booking so late in the season…our gamble paid off! We had one of the most gorgeous fall evenings! Congratulations on your graduation and all the best to you!!
I’m offering something new this year: Mini Sessions for families. These are 30 minute sessions allowing just enough time to get a nice photograph of the family and kids. Mini Sessions are intended for immediate families and will allow for a few different poses. This year’s Mini Sessions are scheduled the evening of June 13th with four available spots. Times available from 5:30-7:45 allow for the golden light before sunset. If you are interested in booking one of these sessions, please send an email to schedule your session.
Celebrating 2 years old is pretty special! The little girls’ nanny brought this sweet two-year-old in as a surprise gift for her family! She is beyond cute! She was smart and oh so funny! When shooting a series of images that capture many expressions, it lends itself to a collage telling her story of being Two! I’m sure her parents will treasure this gift for a lifetime! Happy 2nd birthday and thanks for brightening up my day!
and the collage that tells her story….
It is a privilege to be part of such an amazing group of people as I share my photography with the Woodbury Community Foundation (WCF). WCF is preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary with a Gala event on May 17th, 2014. Mark your calendar as you don’t want to miss this interactive celebration of the history of Woodbury.
I have been fascinated with the number of residents that have grown up here and are with us to share how much Woodbury, MN has changed over the last century! Stories of a generous community helping one another are truly inspiring! Many of these stories come from Woodbury native, Inez Oehlke who raised her family on one of the still-standing farms. If you haven’t heard Inez Oehlke speak, you are in for a treat! She is the keynote speaker of the Gala. Inez is not only captivating in her story-telling but is poetic in the way she paints the most vivid changes to our city.
The Gala is not a typical fundraiser, but one that will include a live ‘walk through history’ as our own Woodbury Community Theater brings our town to life through acting and song. Tickets sold will include a commemorative coffee table book with current and historical photographs and facts of Woodbury. Attendees will enjoy dinner at the Prom Center, presentations from Inez Oehlke along with past and present City Mayors.
This event will be a celebration of the wonderful community of Woodbury. For more information or to purchase tickets for this event visit: http://www.woodburyfoundation.org
